Paw is a refugee from Thailand where she lived for 17 years. She then moved to Indiana where she met and married her husband. They have been living in Prospect Park in Whitehall for two years.
Paw really likes it here and has received a lot of support from the Prospect Park Family Center. When she became pregnant, they helped her and her husband find a doctor for her prenatal care and delivery.
When Paw moved here she received food stamps and Medicaid, which was been really helpful to their family. Her husband works in screen printing, while Paw enjoys working in the home and raising their son.
Last year they got their taxes done at H&R Block and paid over $300 for their services. This year they are very happy to be getting their taxes done for free by Just Harvest. If owed a refund, they plan to put it towards purchasing a car.
