Stand Up for Health Care and Workers!
Please join members and friends of the United Steelworkers and Just Harvest at a rally this afternoon in front of the Allegheny County Jail in support of the jail’s health care staff who are trying to unionize.
Among the leaders of this union drive is our own Board President, Sister Barb Finch, who was fired last week by Corizon, the jail’s for-profit health care subcontractor – apparently in illegal retaliation for her organizing activity.
