…Sunday, March 15: Empty Bowls at Rodef Shalom Congregation
1-6 p.m.
The concept is simple, yet powerful. Community members come together to share in “a simple meal of soup and bread as a reminder that too many people throughout our region are facing hunger with empty bowls.” Benefiting Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and Just Harvest, the dinner event features artisan pottery for guests to take home, soups from local restaurants and an auction featuring celebrity-autographed bowls.
