Soup & Bowl Takeout: Takeout option that includes soup and bowl
Gather with friends and neighbors for an informal meal of local chef-created soups, hearty bread and other tasty treats. Each ticket will include a humble dinner and a hand-crafted bowl. New selections of handmade bowls will be replenished throughout the event.
Guests will have the option of dining with other community members in Rodef Shalom’s ballroom or enjoying their soup at home. The Soup & Bowl Takeout ticket welcomes guests through a separate entrance, where they personally select their soup and bowl of choice to enjoy at home. Dine-in and takeout guests will have the option of purchasing additional soup.
Accessibility
There will be limited reserved spaces in Rodef Shalom’s parking lot for people in need of accessible parking. Once inside the building, visit the Accessibility Station at Registration (signage will be present) where guests that need to limit their standing time will receive expedited service from an Empty Bowls volunteer.
Parking Details
Rodef Shalom’s parking lot fills up quickly for this event. We recommend street parking or parking at Central Catholic High School or Winchester Thurston where we have permission to use these lots for our guests. If you have mobility challenges, there will be limited reserved spaces in the Rodef Shalom parking lot.
All proceeds will benefit Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and Just Harvest.
