Join us for this public event to help inform and empower first-time voters in advance of the November election.
The exhibition will feature an original work by Brooklyn-based designer architects WeShouldDoItAll called MUSICONOMY. It is part of “Clarify”—a program presented by Spotify that aims to spark thoughtful, informative discussion around this election’s key issues by exploring connections between music, art, and politics. This evening is one of a series of dynamic discussion-based events happening in 8 cities around the US over the next few weeks. Each one will take on one of today’s key political issues: Student Debt, Policing & Civil Rights, Climate Change, Immigration, Healthcare, Gender Equality and Criminal Justice.
The topic for this evening’s panel discussion is Income Inequality, featuring Josh Berman from Just Harvest, Samey Jay from Pittsburgh United, and Cynthia Croot from the University of Pittsburgh. There will also be a screening of a new Clarify video featuring the band Prophets of Rage, that comprises members of Rage Against the Machine, Cypress Hill, and Public Enemy.
