During our monthly Action Council meetings, members discuss how the decisions that legislators and other officials make at all levels of government affect hunger and poverty in our communities. Together we develop plans for meeting with key leaders and decision-makers, staging actions, and educating the public in order to hold government accountable and improve our lives.
The Council is open to all concerned adults in Allegheny County. Your experiences and voice can make a difference.
Snacks provided. Free child care available upon request.
If you are interested in attending the next monthly meeting, please contact Helen Gerhardt at [email protected] or (412) 431-8960 x105.
