In partnership with Just Harvest, East Liberty Development, Inc. (ELDI), Open Hand Ministries, Repair the World, and the East End Cooperative Ministry (EECM) are hosting two poverty simulations this fall as part of their promotion for “Circles,” an anti-poverty initiative that launched this past summer.

The simulations will be part of a training exercise for families interested in participating in Circles East Liberty as “allies”.

“Circles provides a structured program to participating communities in order to combat generational poverty. By pairing lower-income families (leaders) with middle-to-higher income families (allies), Circles creates a supportive network that crosses socioeconomic divides.”
