This summer marks the first that shoppers can use food stamps to purchase fresh produce at city farmers’ markets. In May, Just Harvest-in coordination with the Food Policy Council and Pittsburgh Citiparks-launched Fresh Access, a program that enables EBT card/food stamp purchases at the Citiparks East Liberty Farmers’ Market.
