Are you filing a tax return to claim the Child Tax Credit (CTC) or Economic Impact Payments (EIPs)?
The CTC payments and EIPs (stimulus) were issued at different times throughout 2020 and 2021. Many families were eligible for these payments, even families that don’t usually file a tax return. It’s not too late to claim these credits if you think you were eligible but did not receive them.
There are two virtual tax prep options to help you claim them.
Option 1: Visit www.GetCTC.org/JustHarvest to complete a simplified tax return.
This is the right option if you did not work in 2021 and any of these statements apply to you:
- You are eligible for the expanded Child Tax Credit.
- You did not receive the third, $1,400 stimulus payment in 2021 for yourself and/or a dependent.
Option 2: Visit www.GetYourRefund.org to complete a full tax return.
This is the right option if you did work in 2020 or 2021 and any of these statements apply:
- You are eligible for the expanded Child Tax Credit.
- You did not receive the first, second and/or third stimulus payment(s) in 2020 and 2021.
